Board of Elections

Although 2025 is an "off year" for federal elections, there will be a number of issues and local elections on the ballot in November 2025.  Once again, we will see proposed constitutional amendments on the ballot, submitted through petitions from the citizens of the state and requiring only a simple majority vote to become part of the Ohio Constitution.

The first citizen-led Constitutional Amendment that has been approved by the Secretary of State is and amendment to ABOLISH THE PROPERTY TAX throughout the state of Ohio.  This proposed Amendment was approved by the Ohio Secretary of State on May 9, 2025 and then by the Ohio Ballot Board on May 14, 2025.  See more information below.

As additional issues and amendments are approved for the ballot, we will provide information and recommendations here.  Please check back regularly, as there are expected to be several more amendments and/or issues proposed.

 

As proposed amendments are submitted to the Secretary of State and the Ballot Board, citizens will be looking for signatures on petitions.  The Warren County Republican Party will be discussing and voting on these issues, amendments and candidates for state and local offices in order to identify the best issues and candidates and make recommendations to our County voters.
