Rev. Christian M. Mays – June 30, 2026

Our nation stands at a crossroads, and the time has come to choose which path we will follow. Will we continue to uphold the principles, traditions, and values that made America the greatest nation on earth, or will we continue down the path our country has been urged to follow in recent years?

I am reminded of the words found in Ecclesiastes 10:2: "A wise man's heart inclines to the right, but the heart of a fool to the left." While that verse speaks first to wisdom and righteousness rather than modern politics, it is a sobering reminder that the direction we choose matters.

Today, I find myself questioning the direction of the Supreme Court. While I applaud its decision to protect the integrity of women's sports and the opportunities of our wives, daughters, and granddaughters, I am deeply disappointed by its decision regarding birthright citizenship. The notion that someone can enter our country illegally, have a child, and automatically confer citizenship raises serious constitutional and policy questions. In my view, the Court got that one wrong.

This is yet another reminder of why the elections this November are so important. We must elect leaders who are committed to defending our Constitution, protecting our nation's sovereignty, preserving the rule of law, and safeguarding the values that have made America strong. We cannot afford to return to policies that weaken our communities, undermine our security, and erode the freedoms generations of Americans have fought to preserve.

Your Warren County Republican Party remains committed to fighting for you, your family, and your freedoms. Together, we can continue building a stronger Warren County, a stronger Ohio, and a stronger America.

This November, I encourage you to stand with us, support Republican candidates up and down the ballot, and make your voice heard.

May God continue to bless Warren County, the great State of Ohio, and the United States of America.

For Faith, Family, and Freedom,

Rev. Christian M. Mays

Chairman, Warren County Republican Party
