The Warren County Board of Elections is seeking Poll Workers from the Republican Voters to work on Election Day.

Pay is $90 for the day. Training sessions are provided and an additional $25.00 is paid for attending. Presiding Judges are paid $105, plus mileage for picking up and returning ballots.

Poll Workers are the back bone of our election process. To be a part of this civic minded group, please call one of the following Board of Election Office numbers and ask for “Marti.”

Text Box: Central Committee Up-date

Looking back, I want to repeat the “Thank You” that I hope each of you heard for your part in
the 2006 election. It was a difficult year for our party nationally and statewide, yet here in
Warren County, Ohio we got out the voters, and we delivered the votes for our state and
federal candidates. I was amazed at the busyness of our small campaign headquarters.
We did phone banking, literature drops, and organized the GOTV effort from that little building.

I was especially gratified to see the spirit of cooperation demonstrated by all; old and young,
veteran and rookie, men and women, college students and seniors labored side by side.

The results were truly amazing. In the worst year for Republicans in recent memory, Warren County delivered strong vote margins for every republican candidate. Even those who lost their race or did poorly elsewhere enjoyed success in Warren County. It was no accident. Warren County is blessed with strong conservative voters and your efforts during the campaign made the issues and positions clear to them. We are truly recognized as the heart of Republican Country in Ohio.

Looking forward, we will need your strong involvement once again during this very important 2008 Presidential Campaign. The differences will be clear again this year. All of the Democrat candidates have expressed their plans to raise income taxes, move us to government controlled health care, and retreat in the war on terrorism. That is exactly the wrong direction on every issue. It will again be up to us to do the hard work of democracy, and elect principled, consistent, conservative leaders to local, state and national positions. I hope we can, once again, count on your help to do just that.

Soon after the upcoming primary, we’ll once again hold an organizational meeting to select Warren County Republican Party leaders for the next two years. Those of us on the Central Committee will have a very busy election season. I look forward to working with each of you in. 2008.
