An Important Message from our new Party Chairman!
Greetings Fellow Republicans,
First let me convey my deep appreciation for your support on becoming the Chairman of the Warren County Republican Party. It is an honor to join with you in leading a key county that has a crucial impact on statewide and presidential elections.
I am a conservative on fiscal, social, and constitutional issues, and I believe we are blessed to live in this great country. I will share more later about my family, my business background, and my passion for economic development. And I look forward to getting to know all of you better.
As I said during our Central and Executive Committee meeting, we are about to embark on one of the most important Presidential elections in history. The outcome will have a lasting impact on our nation. Remember, presidents come and go, but a Supreme Court appointment lasts a lifetime. The next president will have the opportunity to appoint up to three Supreme Court Justices. Imagine what three more Obama-appointees would mean for generations to come!
To unify the party and win the General Election, yesterday Governor John Kasich and Lt. Governor Mary Taylor endorsed Mitt Romney for President. Gov. Kasich stated, "The biggest issue in this Presidential election will be who can make the economy stronger so that America's families can be stronger."
The impact on Ohio was further underscored by Gov. Kasich: "The progress we've made in Ohio is hampered by a White House that can't make up its mind and which can't set the right course for our economy."
While many of us supported different candidates in the primary, it is now time for all of us to come together to support Governor Romney. The consequences of another four years of the Obama administration far outweigh any differences we had in the primary. Remember, united we stand, divided we fall!
This past September, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff addressed threat assessment to national security. The number one threat to America was not Al Qaeda. It was not Iran. It was not China. It was not North Korea. It was not the Taliban. Our top military leader said "the single biggest threat to our national security is our debt."
As I've stated before, the task ahead will be long and difficult but one together we can win. So please join me in rolling up our sleeves and getting to work on defeating Obama and putting a Republican back in the White House.
